As well as jumpers, leggings, hats and boots, you can also make blankets in cot and pram sizes. Both kits are ideal for beginners.

The blankets are made from individual squares knitted diagonally to ensure they remain square. They are knitted in DK yarn to be both warm and very robust. A blanket kit is a perfect project when pregnant and doesn't seem too daunting when you knit it one square at a time! You can make the pram/crib size first and then buy an additional kit later to extend it to a cot size as your baby grows! The design can be as simple as two colours in a checkerboard style or choose up to 10 of your favourite colours for an ultra colourful cot blanket. They make fabulous presents - so useful and completely unisex! You can use pastel colours for a more traditional look or go as bright as you like. The blanket in the picture below was made for my first son, Cal over 10 years ago. As a winter baby I wanted something in warm Autumnal shades. It has been washed and washed and dragged about and it still looks fantastic!

All Cottontot's jumpers can also be customised with the addition of pockets (in the same yarn weight). You choose the design and colours (to match or contrast with your design) and we knit them up for you ready to sew on to your completed garment.

All kits include pattern and all yarn required. Wooden knitting needles can be purchased too if required. All prices include UK P+P.
